The fifth draft of the new mobile operating system of Apple has just come out. Iphones.

The fifth beta release of iOS 12 released Tuesday night contains some interesting innovations that seem to confirm Apple's rumors. For example, the leaked expert Guilherme Rambo discovered in the depths of the operating system code a component that generates diagnostic reports and contains the status of a "second SIM card" location or "Second SIM card". There has been speculation for months that the 2018 Apple iPhone generation will be the first dual SIM capable – at least in some of the new models.

Continue in iOS 12 Beta 5 a new screen for HomePod Smart Speaker Installation, which states that the device will be able to make a direct phone call. Corresponding rumors had already been given for a new beta software from HomePod, but only allowed to test Apple internally. Until now, you can only speak to the Siri speaker when you start it or accept it on the iPhone, then go to the speaker, which is rather uncomfortable.

12 Beta 5, according to Rambo, also brings new clues to the wireless charging case for Apple's AirPods earplugs, as the users have been waiting for almost a year. Here are some cool pictures that show, among other things, a new LED on the outside of the case, which serves as a charge indicator. When charging, the light is orange, charged in green – as you already know from the current battery of AirPods. Here, however, the LED is (only) inside the case. Apparently, Apple also intends to bring new AirPod models to the market, which carry the new AirPods1,2 identifier. However, it is not clear if these are not just current AirPods with a new wireless charging case.

Another new feature in iOS 12 Beta 5 is the battery status indicator of Apple. This is no longer titled "beta", so it is evolved. The feature is available since iOS 11.3, but has always been described by Apple as not yet complete. Among other things, it helps to disable a controversial choke and check the health of the battery.
