Pokémon GO: Here's how you defeat Arctos in the Raid

[ad_1]

The legendary Pokémon Arktos is one of the most difficult bosses of Pokémon GO. Because you will soon be able to fight again in the raid – Niantic announced a matching event in reward for the fact that players have achieved the goals of the Dortmund Safari Zone – we summarize for you here in our guide (based on a Pokemongohub items) so you can easily incorporate Arktos into your collection – maybe even in the Shiny variant.

Arktos is a Raidboss on Tier Five. So you should fight with at least three coaches – but better a group of four or five players. Arktos owns 37,603 Boss CP and belongs to the Ice Flight combination. It is therefore particularly sensitive to rocks, fire, electricity and steel, with rock attacks acting at double strength.

In combat, Arctos depends exclusively on ice attacks. You should not use Pokémon in the Raid against legendary Pokémon, which has a weakness compared to ice attacks. Specifically, Arktos uses the following series of attacks:

  • Ice (normal attack, ice type) and Blizzard (charged attack, ice type)
  • Ice (normal attack, ice type) and Ice (charged attack, ice type)
  • Eisodema (normal attack, ice type) and ice storm (charged attack, ice type)

The most dangerous is the combination of Eisodem and Blizzard, then that you can relatively well escape from ice iodine and ice storm. If you want to maximize your chances in the Arctic raid, you can bet on the following counter-Pokemon:

  • Tyranitar (Rock / Unlight type) with catapult (normal attack, rock type) and stone edge (charged attack, type of rock)
  • Amoroso (type of rock / water) with stone throw (normal attack, type of rock) and hail (heavy attack, type of rock)
  • Geowaz (type of rock) with stone throw ( normal attack, rock type) and stone edge, rock type)
  • Part (fire type) with a fire swirl (normal attack, fire type) and a thermal scooter (charged attack, fire type)
  • Lavados (fire / flight type) with a fire swirl (normal attack, fire type) and Heatstrike (charged attack, fire type)
  • Flamara (fire type) with fire Vortex (normal attack, fire type) and Heat Spray (Charge Attack, Fire Type)
  • Lohgock (Fire / Combat Type) with Counterattack (Normal Attack, Co mbat type) and heat (charged attack, type F yours)
  • Raikou (Electro Type) with Thunderbolt (Normal Attack, Electro Type) and Surge (Charged Attack, Electro Type)
  • Metagross (Steel Type / Psycho ) with Slash Pattern (Normal Attack, Steel Type) and Light Cannon (charged attack, steel type)

Alternatively, the following slightly lower counterpokemon may be used:

  • Lanturn (water / electric type) with beam of charge (normal attack, type Elektro) and lightning (charged attack, type Elektro) [19659005] Glurak (type of fire) (normal attack, type of fire) and heated roller (charged attack, type of fire)
  • Tornupto ( type of fire) with glow (normal attack, type of fire) and heat scooter (charged attack, type of fire)
  • Kabutops (rock / water type) with smasher (normal attack, type of rock) and ancient force ( charged attack, rock type)
  • aerodactyl (rock type / flight) with jaws ure (normal attack, type Unlicht) and Ancient force (charged attack, type of rock) [19659005] Hundemon (fire / dodge type) with a fire tooth (normal attack, fire type) and a fire storm (charged attack, fire type)
  • Steelless (type ground / steel) with iron tail (normal attack, steel type) and denture attack, steel type) (19659005) Magcargo (fire / rock type) with stone jet (normal attack, type of rock) and stone edge (heavy attack, type of rock)
  • Mogelbaum (rock type) with stone thrown (normal attack, rock type) and Stone Rim (Charged Attack, Rock Type)
  • Blitza ( Electro Type) with Thunderbolt (Normal Attack, Electro Type) and Thunderflash (Charged Attack, Electro Type)
  • Magneton (Electro Type) with Thunderbolt (Normal Attack, Electro Type) and Lightning Cannon (Charged Attack, Electro Type) [19659005] Ampharos (Electro Type) with Load Beam (Normal Attack, Electro Type) and Blitz Cannon (Attack) Lastly, note the following general advice for fighting Arktos: [19659004] Rainy weather intensifies electrical attacks. When it rains, he prefers Electro Pokémon.
  • In the sun, the fire attacks are stronger. Use the type of Fire Pokémon above all else.
  • When it snows, Arktos attacks are stronger, but so are Metagross attacks. In addition, Arktos PCs are higher when you catch it. Incidentally, this is also true for windy weather.
