Half of this year's biggest PUBG tournament is already over and ends with a win for a Korean team.
The PUBG Global Invitational will take place in Berlin from July 25 to 29, where the top 20 teams in the world will play $ 2 million in the Playerunknown Battlefields. The first part of the tournament is already over and ended with the victory of the Korean Gen.G Gold team.
The tournament is divided into third person (TPP) and first person (FPP) with eight matches each, with a community event between Charity and streaming stars like Ninja, Shroud and Dr. DisRespect instead. Here, teams of streamers and professional players participated in four first-person games on Erangel's map.
The TPP matches were already Wednesday and Thursday, so the first winner was the Korean team . Gen.G Gold is already established. Overall, the Koreans dominated the first leg of the tournament: the Korean team Gen.G Black also led the first day, but slipped to sixth place on the second day. Second place went to Team Liquid, third at Welcome to South Georgo, both European teams.
Nobody comes to Korea
Even at Charity Tournament two professional players from Team Gen. Serpentines known as Shroud or Ninja were present, but they were not impressive like the Koreans and did not reach the top 3.
