Although the Nintendo Switch was launched in the spring of last year, no YouTube application for the Japanese game console has yet been released. According to a note on the official website, this could change in the coming days.
Once on the North American Nintendo title website "Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum" n "Fun!" has been reloaded several times, appeared in the recommended games, including a previously unknown YouTube application for the switch. The program will be published on November 8th. However, after clicking the corresponding link, only the standard error message for non-existent subpages appears.

Almost no streaming service for the switch
Basically, console owners can only rely on a very limited streaming offer. In addition to the Niconico service, the Hulu app can also be used. Only a hidden browser, originally intended only to establish a connection with public Wi-Fi access points, allows you to surf the Internet with the switch. Nintendo still believes, in its opinion, that this device was designed primarily to play, not to visit websites or watch streaming content.
Of course, the board does not guarantee the effective release of the application on November 8 for the portable hybrid. For example, the software may initially only be available in certain regions and in that country at a later date or it may not appear. Currently, YouTube video playback on the switch is only possible via the hidden browser or complicated workarounds.
