– Suspects arrested by NACOB while trying to smuggle drugs into the Philippines
– Nigerians tried to smuggle drugs into a concealed dried "kako"
Two Nigerian nationals were arrested by the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB), trying to smuggle methamphetamine through the Ghana Post Office headquarters in Accra.
According to the Citinewsroom.com report, the suspects hid 21.7 kg of drugs in stock, also known in the local language as "Kako".
A statement issued by NACOB states that drugs must be smuggled into the Philippines.

suspects, Theophilus Biney, and Jeff Nnaana-K, all residents of Ghana, were selected
Theophilus Biney was apprehended after attempting to display the fish parcels that contained the narcotic.
"Theophile at his arrest acknowledged the ownership of the parcel, questioned and revealed that the parcels were given to him by Jeff Nnaana-K to be sent to a Victor, resident in the Philippines," a NACOB statement said.

Nnaana-K when he was arrested told that sending was not his, but was given to him by a Nigerian-based man to be delivered to Theophilus the Ghana post office to a Victor, also a Nigerian resident in the Philippines.
The two suspects have been brought to justice pending further investigations and a verdict on the matter.
Methamphetamine is a usable stimulant Usu drug used as a white, bitter powder or pill, known to be highly addictive.
