President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is scheduled to visit the Upper West region on Tuesday, July 24 to commission several projects, including the opening of the complex of the Regional House of Chiefs in Sombo in the center of Wa
. To the leaders, the president will pay a courtesy call on Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV in his palace and inspect a youth center project in Dondoli, also in Wa.
The President's visit is part of his tour of the North, Upper East and Upper West regions, according to a Presidential itinerary made available to the Ghana News Agency by the Wa Regional Higher Coordinating Council.
He would then continue to the Wa Polytechnic Library and Amatol Laboratory and later meet with the chiefs and queen mothers of five districts that comprise; Wa, Wa West, Nadowli / Kaleo, Daffiama-Bussie-Issah and Wa-Est at the office of the House of Regional Heads
The President Wednesday, July 25 will inspect the proposed Wa-Han Road in the constituency of Daffiama / Bussie / Issa.
He is called upon to call Ullo Naa at Ullo in the district of Jirapa, where he will command projects at Ullo High School.
President Akufo-Addo will summarize his tour with a meeting with the chiefs and queen mothers of six districts – Jirapa, West Sissala, East Sissala, Lambussia, Nandom and Lawra.
