Rawlings describes the late former vice president as an official who served his tenure well
Jerry John Rawlings praised Ghana's former Vice President, Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur, describing him as an unsung hero who served Ghana with love and commitment.
In a sincere Facebook post Rawlings congratulated the late vice-president, who was then the former deputy finance minister for saving the Provisional National Defense Council (PNDC) of the time.
According to Rawlings, Amissah-Arthur's down-to-earth nature has earned him the respect of many Ghanaians. 19659004] Former Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur died June 29, 2018 at the Airforce Gym during a fitness session.
His mortal remains were deposited in the lobby of the Co Accra International Conference on Thursday, July 26, he will be buried by the general public and his burial will take place on Friday, July 27, after which he will be buried.
