President Nana Akufo Addo has authorized Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Pius Enam Hadzide to suspend his role in the racketeering scandal of the Commonwealth Games that shook the country

The President, at the NPP 2018 National Delegate Conference, announced that Hadzide is unblemished "I will suspend his suspension on Monday and I will put him back on duty."
"I intend to maintain this approach throughout my tenure," he said.
