The mortal remains of the legend of the high-life Charles Kofi Amankwandoh Mann, aka "CK Mann", July 14 at Takoradi Cemetery, in the West region.

CK Mann, who died after three years of illness, died at the age of 83 at the Port and Port Hospital of Takoradi, Ghana, on March 20.

The burial service took place at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church, its eternal resting place at Takoradi Cemetery.

It was Friday, July 13, set at home at Anaji Estate and Jubilee Grounds for revival where musicians like Kofi Bentil, Pat Thomas and Gyedu Blay Ambolley served dozens of mourners with an interpretation of high life.

The late CK Mann began his musical career in 1950 in Takoradi, when he joined the Broadway Combo, the third group formed by Broadway Cinema Company.

He later joined the Kakaiku band in 1962 and joined the Ocean Seven group in 1966, which he headed until the early 1970s.

He is the first musician to introduce the saxophone and the trumpet in Ghana music. more than four decades.
