The veteran actor Kuntu Blankson of the dramatic television series Akan, which aired in the 1990s, was a suicide
60-year-old, part of the Adehye Drama group with Joe, Adadzewa among others
. He was one of the favorite characters of many because of the excitement of his character.
He was found dead in his kitchen this morning in Moree Junction, a suburb of Cape Coast in the central region. According to sources, he snuck out of the room and slipped into the kitchen to hang himself, leaving his wife and children in grief after trying to commit suicide but without success.
He was under contract at the Laboratory of the University of Cape Coast.
