Dr. Da Costa Aboagye, secretary of NPP UK, has signed the former vice president, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur, on behalf of the NPP-UK section at the NDC party headquarters in Adabraka in Accra.
In the book of condolences, Dr. Aboagye wrote: "May your sweet soul rest in perfect peace, Your death is a great loss for Ghana."
Dr. Aboagye after talking with family members of the late Veep shared a word with Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Ata who was also present.

When addressing journalists gathered in front of the NDC party headquarters, Mr. Aboagye expressed the shock and sadness of the disappearance of the former vice president of Ghana but noted that HE Paa Kwasi Amissah Arthur was a model official and served his country with sincerity.
The British branch of the NPP extends its thoughts, prayers and sympathies to his wife, children and family.
The former Vice President died in the early morning of Friday, June 29, 2018, after having collapsed Airforce Gym during a workout. He was later transported to the military hospital where he died.

Many tributes have come since the news of his death.

President Nana Akufo-Addo, Vice President, Dr. Mahamamudu Bawumia, Past Presidents Jerry John Rawlings and John Mahama, among others, praised the late Amissah-Arthur and signed the book of condolences.
