Police will receive more government logistics – Dery

The Ghana Police Service is to receive more than 100 new vehicles, in line with the government's desire to provide the service, to enable it to meet modern police standards.

More than 200 pickups, motorcycles and other logistics that service had already been provided.

Interior Minister Ambrose Dery announced in Accra when he opened the annual two-day workshop for criminal police officers.

M. Dery said the government had also provided vehicles and other logistical services to the police unit formed for its operations and to ensure that the service was better equipped to carry out his duties responsibly.

IGP
