Sharing her experience at the beginning of the foundation, Ms. Asomaning-Antwi said, "It was not easy when I decided to stop. business work and focus only on the Angel-Zoe Foundation. But I pursued this singular cause quietly because many corporate entities that I approached for support refused to help. Angel Zoe Foundation was too unpopular, and often did not fit into their corporate social responsibility plans. And today I am with the evidence of my desire. "

She expressed appreciation for the award saying" it was never intended for prestige or recognition but alas, we are there. The recognition of the Point of Light will certainly push me to continue the well-being of vulnerable people in my country and elsewhere. "
