The world leader in music-based entertainment, Universal Music Group (UMG), has signed a contract with Ghanaian leader Livingstone Etse Satekla, aka Stonebwoy, for the Afro-Dancehall album
]. which is currently on "Epistles of Mama World Tour" in Europe, has already won a major label with Universal Music Group.
His agreement was announced at the launch of the new office of the pan-African division Universal Music Group in Nigeria on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.
Stonebwoy, who is already a signatory of the Zylofon Music label, was not the only Ghanaian artist to be in agreement with UMG.

Other artists signed to the label include Nigerian artists WurlD, Odunsi (the motor), Tay Iwar, Mr Eazi and co-signed Tekno in collaboration with Island Records UK, and co-signed Tanzanian singer and songwriter Vanessa Mdee in collaboration with AfroForce1 Records.
The new UMG division in Lagos will support artists from Nigeria, Ghana, and The Gambia across the continent and beyond, using Universal Music Group's global networks for discovery, marketing , a wider promotion and distribution.
This new strategic division will operate from a new office in Lagos, under the direction of Ezegozie Eze. Jr., who has been appointed general manager of Universal Music Nigeria.
