(HOBOKEN, NJ) – SWG / dancetheatre and Jacobs Dance Collective join forces to present the premiere of the Sarah & Whitney Show at the Mile Square Theater in Hoboken from Thursday, August 16 at Saturday August 18 at 8:00 am C Elevation of effort, excess, risk and gigantic damage, the Sarah & Whitney Show is dedicated to all things FUN!

Choreographers Sarah Weber Gallo and Whitney Jacobs invite the public to the Mile Square Theater for three free dance nights celebrating our collective need to seek pleasure, companionship, debauchery and laughter! Estimated time of execution: 60 minutes; Recommended for all ages

Sarah Weber Gallo is the Artistic Director of SWG / dancetheatre and the Director of Dance at Mile Square Theater, where her 2016 production of The Magic Hour was premiered worldwide ("Stunning!" – Dance Enthusiast). She is the principal dancer of the Metropolitan Opera Ballet at Lincoln Center

. Whitney Jacobs is a choreographer, performer and educator in New York. His choreography has been produced by 14th Street Y, Joyce Soho, Arts Triskelion, Aaron Davis Hall, Brooklyn High School, and the Aronoff Center for the Arts (Cincinnati, OH), among others. More recently, she has performed in Ghana with the acclaimed West African drum and dance ensemble of the Ohio Azaguno University.

The dance on the lawn returns for its fifth year
(MONTCLAIR, NJ) – Danse on the lawn, Montclair, the outdoor dance festival of the NJ, will return to the lawn of the Episcopal Church St. Luke , 73 South Fullerton Avenue, on Saturday, September 8th from 3pm to 5pm. Celebrating its fifth anniversary, Dance on the Lawn 2018 will feature performances by more than 13 dance companies and schools from New York and New Jersey. The entrance is free.
