Black Panther came out in February this year, is not it? And it took me until July to write a post … The reason? I spent all this time entertaining myself in the existence of the movie!
Okay, so I saw him twice at the movies, twice on flights, and now twice on DVD. You think that 6 times is enough ?! And I'm still prostrate before that! Without a doubt! I am a fan of Marvel; Please note that this is going to be a very biased post and an ode to Okoye and Nakia.
Best Marvel Movie?
Is Black Panther the best Marvel film? I thought Civil War was the best until Black Panther and then Infinity War came out. Now, I'm not sure. You movie fans know that we met the Black Panther for the first time in Civil War, is not it? You are not part of Johnny Just Comes who met T & C for the first time in Black Panther, innit ?!
Where do you start a post about something that gave you so much pleasure? As I said, I'm a fan, and Marvel's cinematic universe is terribly good. The superhero movie has been taken to a whole new level. From The Incredible Hulk to Avengers: Infinity War, each movie has added exponentially to our enjoyment at the movies. So it is with a sense of expectation that I went to see Black Panther. It must have been good, right? A superhero we had met once before, and who had exceeded expectations, a black cast, a black director, an action galore, beautiful black bald women (like me!), And Marvel! A surefire baby success!
From the Beginning
So what did the film really look like? Well, when an intriguing movie begins when the voiceover tells us a very brief story of Wakanda, and a character looks through a peephole and says, "These are these two chicks in search of Grace Jones … they are holding spears. This Accent
One of the first things that struck me about Black Panther was the so-called Wakanda accent. It's so diverse by the actors (and I say it with a deep-seated language) that we would expect the country to have at least 59 tribes. This is not the case. I must admit that it did not cause me any joy.
