Universal Music Group (UMG), the world's leading music-based entertainment company, announced a significant expansion of operations in West Africa, with the launch of Universal Music Nigeria.

These two signatures mark the first time that UMG labels from both continents have joined forces to sign and launch African artists around the world , with other artists' partnerships with UMG.
