Accra, July 26, GNA –
Mr. Akwasi Awua Ababio, Director of the Diaspora Affairs Office of the Presidency,
said that tourism was growing, and Africa needs to develop its own tourism by
actively involve people in the diaspora.

He said that the diaspora
was made up of great people who were ambbadadors and it was important to use
to market the continent's tourism potential.

"Let us pack our
tourism opportunities very well and market them through our people living in
the diaspora to the rest of the world. "

Mr. Ababio did this
observation at the third showcase of tourism and culture of Ghana in Nigeria, held as
part of the activities planned for the celebration of emancipation
theme: "The role of tourism and culture in the 21st century;

He said Ghana and
Nigeria had a very cordial relationship going back and he was in the right
direction that such a forum was organized to showcase the rich culture and
natural heritage of both countries.

He said that the west coast

countries to work together to promote tourism in the country, expressing
