The Hawaii Department of Health said in a press release that the three coronavirus-related deaths were occurring today in Oahu and Maui.
The latest deaths included an Oahu woman in her 50s, an Oahu man in her 50s and a Maui man in her 60s – all with underlying health issues when they were hospitalized for COVID-19, state health officials said.
No further details were immediately available regarding today’s new infections.
Meanwhile, city officials today confirmed that another TheBus driver on Oahu has tested positive for COVID-19. The State Department of Education has also confirmed that a student from Lanai High & Elementary in Lanai City tested positive for COVID-19.

Health officials in Hawaii today reported three new coronavirus-related deaths and 106 new infections, bringing the state’s total since the start of the pandemic to 312 deaths and 23,733 cases.
No further details were immediately available regarding the latest coronavirus-related deaths.
The state’s official coronavirus death toll includes 244 deaths on Oahu, 45 on the island of Hawaii, 19 on Maui, one in Kauai and three Hawaii residents who died on the mainland.
