The author, George R.R. Martin, provided an update on how the television series of the "successor" of Game of Thrones are looming. This news comes shortly after Game of Thrones director and producer Bryan Cogman announced the cancellation of his successor to Game of Thrones. One of the shows, titled The Long Night, stars Naomi Watts and will start shooting this year.
