The regular practice of meditation takes time, although there is no rule about how long it takes to make it profitable. So, allow yourself to meditate for only a few minutes between other times of the day and know that any amount of meditation is a beneficial amount of meditation.

In addition, meditation is not the only way to practice and extract the benefits of mindfulness. Although meditation is a practice, mindfulness is simply a way of being. Mindfulness is to pay attention with awareness to the present moment.

There are many ways to instill mindfulness in our time without it being necessary to schedule a specific time to sit quietly. We can practice mindfulness in any part of life, being intentionally conscious and present when we walk, eat, work, talk, drive or train. Just try to note the taste of your food, the feeling of soil under your feet or the smell of your environment and know that you bring mindfulness into your life.
