Rubella is usually a mild illness in children that does not cause death, but is very dangerous for pregnant women. This rubella virus, it infects pregnant women in the first trimester (three months), will have a deadly impact on the child.
Children who have attacked the rubella virus in the uterus may suffer from heart defects, cataracts, deafness. and developmental delays. These two diseases have no cure and can only be prevented by immunization with RM
Currently, about 70 million Indonesian children will receive immunization by MR. The first phase was completed in 2017. There were 35 million children in Java Island who were receiving immunization at that time.
