It turns out that researchers have observed the relationship between the two since the 1920s.

A new study explores the possible mechanisms contributing to this increased risk.
Considered the most important of its kind, this study examined 15 years of weather data and the incidence of heart attacks in Sweden during the same period.
This discovery was published in JAMA Cardiology on October 24th.
"People have been talking about weather and heart attacks for about 100 years," said lead author Dr. Dr. David Erlinge, head of cardiology at Lund University in Sweden.
"Thanks to our solid data, we can separate more factors than just cold weather."
The highest incidence of heart attacks was observed on days when the temperature below the freezing point was below 32 ° F or 0 ° C.
The rate of heart attack decreases when the temperature reaches nearly 40 degrees.
