Jakarta, Gatra.com – The World Cancer Research Fund predicts that cancer patients will increase by 24 million by 2035. The World Health Organization (WHO) mentions that in 2012, 14 million new cases and 8.2 million people died of cancer. In advanced countries, lung cancer is the fourth leading cause of death. In Indonesia, in addition to lung cancer, bad cancer is the most at risk cancer.

Cancer is one of the dreaded diseases in the world. Cancer is indeed a dreaded disease, but not a disease that occurs in a short time. It takes a long time for the cancer cells to grow and become malignant. In fact, more than 30% of cancers can be cured by modifying risk factors for behavior and dietary causes of cancer.

Cancer known at an early stage provides better treatment by detecting early symptoms that may occur in the body. . Although most of these symptoms can be very general and may vary by location, the character of the malignancy and the presence or absence of metastases, but checking early can make a big difference.

This was transmitted by Biotechnology, Biology and Nutrition experts from Taiwan's Chung Hsing University, Professor Chau Chi Fai at the National Seminar on Health "Food, Nutrition and Cancer Prevention" held in three major cities namely Makbadar (27/7), Medan (28/7), and finally in Jakarta (29/7).

In his statement, Professor Chau further explained that certain nutritional substances will be related to cancer risk factors. Prof Chau further explains the clinical evidence as well as the mechanism in the body of the relationship between certain patterns of food consumption and risk factors for the incidence of cancer. An example of its research results is a good source of grain foods (whole grains) to control the level of weight and thanks to food technology, the treatment does not damage the enzymes well used by the body.

This health seminar was organized by PT Citra Nusa Insan Cemerlang (CNI) through the #CNIAgainstCancer campaign.
