Composer-performer Shane MacGowan married his long-time girlfriend, Victoria Mary Clarke.
The two men, who have been together for 32 years and engaged for 11 years, were married Tuesday at a civil ceremony in Copenhagen.
Among the guests was actor Johnny Depp, a longtime friend of MacGowan. He played guitar after the ceremony at Copenhagen City Hall.
London-based publican Gerry O'Boyle, who helped organize the tribute concert to former singer Pogues at the National Concert Hall earlier this year, was also present.
Ms. Clarke posted a photo of her wearing an orange dress on her Twitter page and captioned, "Thank you for the beautiful dress? @Bellafreud? ? @ BellaFreudLDN? !!! "
MacGowan, who was 60 years old in January and has been using a wheelchair since his fall a few years ago, wore a trilby hat and a navy blue suit.
