Sam Burgess came to defend former coaches Stuart Lancaster and Andy Farrell against the disaster of the 2015 Rugby World Cup.
England was remarkably eliminated during the group stage as a facilitator, which resulted in the loss of their jobs at Farrell and Lancaster. Burgess himself, converted in the championship, was used as a scapegoat before returning to the league shortly thereafter.
In a series of tweets this morning, Burgess defended his performance by claiming that it was "individual egos and selfish players" who did not follow their leader. [Lancaster] it cost them a quick exit.
He then calls Lancaster, Farrell and the rest of the coaching staff "great men" and questions the level of engagement of players who seemed to have "their own agenda" in 2015. Burgess also said "someday" he will reveal everything and tell his version of the story.
Considering how success Lancaster and Farrell were since the departure of England – Burgess's comments make a lot of sense.

Costs essentially the coach and other great men their jobs. Tournaments are not won by coaching staff or a player. This requires a commitment from the entire group. I guarantee you, I was hired, but others had their own programs. I have good memories of my time in the UK
