David Ginola thinks that life has given him a "second chance" after surviving a heart attack and that he is thinking "every day" about why he survived.

Monday night football Guest Ginola was clinically dead for eight minutes at a charity match in 2016 after suffering a cardiac arrest on the ground before successfully undergoing a quadruple heart bypbad operation.

The former French midfielder, who has played for Newcastle, Tottenham, Aston Villa and Everton, now wants to make clear the importance of learning CPR to try to save more lives – just like the procedure saved his.

Glenn Hoddle is currently recovering from a heart attack after she collapsed in October. The American football star Tubes suffered a heart attack in February, while Ray Wilkins died of a heart attack in April.

On Monday, Northampton defender Leon Barnett was advised to withdraw from football because of heart problems.

Soccer Tub's Tubes states that pbading the cardiovascular health test is "a no-brainer".

When asked how he felt two years later, Ginola replied: Sky sports: "Completely well?" No. After that, the main thing that stays in your mind, psychologically, is why you're still here.

"The surgeon says," Well, nine out of ten people will come out of the hospital dead, "so why are you still there, why does life give you a second chance? every day.

"You find yourself in a position where you are trying to understand why you are still here, maybe you have a mission to make people understand how important it is to perform CPR.

"Not many people know how to do it, so if you ask 100 people, 10 to 20 people may know how to do it.

"We need to improve this, we need to inform people, it could save hundreds, thousands, millions of lives."
