Want a Chinese "interpretation" of a John Deere?

This tractor (pictured above) was photographed at a recent trade show in Wuhan, China. It is the JotoDeer JT2104A; the brand sounds vaguely similar to that of John Deere.

The tractor's logo is also a bit similar to John Deere's, just like the color / livery. According to the Czech point of sale Agroportail24h, this machine delivers about 150hp.

This tractor (below) was also spotted at the event.

The badge / logo also seems to be remarkably similar to that of John Deere – uncomfortable?

There were also other tractors (shown below), which shared elements of John Deere's overall appearance.

These units, at least from a frontal point of view, share certain design indications with those of John Deere models of the current generation.

"Fendt inspired" design

Last year, we had presented to you the details of a Chinese tractor (manufactured by a company named Ensign) that looks a lot like some current Fendt models.

The tractor (pictured below) was spotted at a trade show abroad – the "China International Agricultural Machinery Show". It has been posted on Facebook by Dautel Landtechnik.

The cabin is certainly very different from that of a Fendt, but the hood has a striking similarity.

Ensign Heavy Industries, as its official name, is headquartered in Weifang, Shandong Province; he is known as a large-scale machine manufacturer.

The company is particularly well known in China for its wheel loaders, excavators, forklifts and reasonably "large-scale" construction equipment. In fact, its main products are loader shovels – there are five distinct ranges and more than 100 different configurations.

Ensign Heavy Industries was founded in 2011, at the time of the construction machinery sector, as a "sluggish growth period" by the company. However, it is said that it builds on half a century of China's collective experience in the field of loader shovels.
