The DJI Osmo Pocket is a very stable and super stable 4K camera

The Osmo pocket also seems a little weird. According to DJI, this is not an action camera, but a motionless camera like the Osmo, which supports several camera models from the DJI Zenmuse range. This thing is alluring tiny. The Osmo Pocket uses an updated version of the camera visible on the DJI Mavic Air, featuring a 1 / 2.3-inch sensor taking 12 megapixel photos and recording 4K videos at 60 frames per second. second. There is even a nice little one-inch screen on the handle, as well as a few buttons allowing you to use the Osmo Pocket all by itself.

The camera also facilitates the making of timelapse videos as well as DJI's Motionlapse video signature, which adds a motion element to a traditional timelapse video. Other capabilities include an FPV mode that disengages the gimbal for a more realistic perspective and some panoramic modes for panoramic images.

Although we had a few minutes to try the DJO Osmo Pocket before the official announcement, we have not seen many of these features in action yet. It's really very small and very neat. But in many ways, it seems that the Osmo Pocket offers great promise in a small package, so much so that all these cinematic magic tricks might not be as easy to achieve in practice. Once again, DJI has a proven track record of innovation in the field of gimballed cameras, especially those on its drones. If the Osmo Pocket camera is just a Mavic Air camera on a stick, that may be so! We will, however, reserve our judgments for a full review.
