It seems that we know at least one of the celebrities who will appear in the next series of Dance with the stars.
Darren Kennedy was photographed with professional dancer Karen Byrne in Dublin, fueling speculation that he is one of the contestants for this year's competition.
A production source confirmed to the Irish Mirror that Darren was participating and had been paired with Karen.
"Darren fits the series perfectly and everyone is happy for him," said the insider.
"He and Karen are going to be great together, it already looks like another winning combination.
"The celebrities of the next series are currently in rehearsal and have already taken their promotional photos."
The photographer who reunited the couple at Temple Bar this week added that Darren and Karen were trying to avoid being seen together at the time.
RTÉ has not responded to requests for comment on the story.
Aged 34, Darren is best known as a stylist and presenter. He launched this year his own brand of care and hair care for men, Kennedy & Co Grooming.
Her supposed companion, Karen, will be looking to make it two by two this year after winning the glittering ball trophy with her celebrity partner Jake Carter in the latest series.
