Netflix creates a series of animated TV shows inspired by the most beloved stories of author Roald Dahl.
The news was announced by a short video on Twitter featuring a selection of Dahl's most popular books, including Charlie and the chocolate factory, Mathilde, LA BFG and Twits, Will be "reinvented for a new generation".

The list of titles in the agreement between Netflix and Roald Dahl Story includes: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Matilda, The BFG, The Twits, Charlie and the Big Glbad Lift, George's Marvelous Medicine, Boy – Childhood Stories, Solo, The Huge Crocodile, The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me, Henry Sugar, Billy and the Minpins, The Magic Finger, Esio Trot, Slave, Dirty Beasts and Stew.
The production of the first Netflix animated series Roald Dahl is scheduled for 2019.
