A 45-year-old man was jailed for life after being convicted of murdering a woman beaten to death in her Cork City apartment in March 2017.
The Central Criminal Court has learned that Nicola Collins, a mother of three, suffered 125 separate bruises and lacerations from her scalp to her ankles.
Cathal O 'Sullivan, a native of Charleville, County Cork, had denied the murder charge and claimed that Mrs. Collins had fallen.
