Back on Jeff Hardy's career at WWE as he celebrates his 20th birthday
Jeff Hardy has reached 20 years of professional wrestling at SmackDown this week. The cloakroom joined him in celebrating his illustrious career.
Samoa Joe did his best to spoil the party by arriving, microphone in hand, to ask how many memorable moments in those 20 years Hardy could remember.
But the fans' warmth for the charismatic Enigma could in no way be diminished, and he enjoyed a big ovation as he marked two decades in the craft.
Hardy was grilled by WWE fans at SmackDown this week
Hardy first worked for the WWF at the time in 1994, but he was not a full time regular before 1998 and has since gained an enviable reputation as a person capable of taking the less risk to entertain paying customers.
A decent part of this spell in the square circle has been spent away from the bright lights of Stamford, but he remains loved by WWE fans – as evidenced by the stripping reaction after returning to WrestleMania alongside his brother Matt. 39, last year.
