This is what Surface plans to publish in 2019

As we finish 2018, it's time to take a look at what Microsoft has planned for the coming year in regards to Surface. In a practical way, I wrote a book on this subject (the story of the construction of the whole brand, which you can read here), so I found this information.

Initially, my plan was not to publish anything and not to leave it in the book, but knowing that everyone was 10 dollars from the roadmap of future Microsoft products, it was not possible to keep away. All that being said, some of these products are a year or older, which means that plans will and will often change; In general, I'm waiting to know exactly when something will come out before posting, but here we are.

Laptop Surface needs to be updated in Q4 next year. What's interesting is that Microsoft can use an AMD chip for some models of the device. The company is still studying the chipset options and is waiting for silicon to materialize, but there is talk of the red team looking for a possible upgrade to a laptop.

Surface Studio should not be updated next year. Instead, look for a significant update in 2020 that will use the "computational module" style design developed with the new Surface Hub.

If you want a surface monitor, it's as thin as possible, an all-in-one PC with a switchable computing unit. I like this idea: the monitors last much longer than the processors and the ability to upgrade the "calculating" part of Surface Studio makes it easy to extend the product life cycle for the end user.

Microsoft is working on a new "ambient" device that it will launch in the spring of 2019. This device would work with a mobile phone and could help with text input and navigation; The details are still a little fuzzy here, but that's what I'm hearing right now.

As for Andromeda, he grows up; Look at the Intel Tiger Rapids prototype, Microsoft is working on a Surface device of this style. So, it's not quite the pocket design that we see in all patents, but it's a bit bigger. Again, this device will be available as soon as it is ready and it will be justified, but the company considers it a visionary device and it is currently planned for a Q4 version.

And the device that launched the entire book, the Surface Pro will be heavily updated in the fourth quarter of 2019 with thinner frames, new color options, USB-C and some other enhancements.

If you have succeeded so far, you will like the rest of the book's content, Under the Surface. This is the story of how Microsoft built the powerful PC brand that led to the creation of this message.
