Emmerdale Fans are getting better, with serial killer Lachlan White making a strong comeback in future episodes.
Lachlan (Thomas Atkinson) faces a long prison sentence for several murders. His last scenes were released in September.
However, it seems that Lachlan's hold on the village is not over yet, as his ex-girlfriend Belle is about to find out.
After her infernal ordeal at the hands of Lachlan, Belle will be shaken when she realizes that he certainly has not forgotten her – nor in the village.

Fans will have to wait to see what Lachlan has in store for Belle and the rest of the villagers, but we can confirm that Thomas has resumed his role for the new story – which should take place in the not-too-distant future.
Lachlan's release was still open, with Thomas teasing at the time when his evil character might be back someday.
"Will he be back? I do not know," said the actor in his farewell video. "You will have to ask the gods for soap about it.
"I mean, he's not dying, he's going to jail, there could be a trial, you know, we do not know, we'll have to see!"
Emmerdale weekday evenings at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
