Jurgen Klopp apologized to Jordan Henderson, captain of Liverpool, for having played at number six for "a year and a half."
The English international has been brilliant in the last two games, playing a much more advanced role under Klopp.
He came off the bench against Southampton change the game in favor of Liverpool with his intensity and racing ahead, so that he put in another big display as he returned to the starting line for the 2-0 win over Porto.
And Klopp said "sorry" to Henderson to play it in the wrong position.
The German said: "It would be cool if I could ask a player to kindly play these kinds of pbades, and we score immediately!"
"Hendo is a brilliant player, I'm really happy to be able to show him again, he obviously likes the position.
"It's my fault if for a year and a half he played number six. Sorry!
"But we needed him there. It was a very good performance. "
