The main suspect of a car crash in Castleblayney on Tuesday night that claimed the life of a man and injured a guardian is expected to appear in the court of Carrickmacross, CoMonaghan, tonight.
The suspect has been fleeing to An Garda Siochána for eight years for an almost identical incident in which the same Garda was injured.
Earlier Thursday, An Garda Siochána said that a woman who had helped a garda at the scene of the accident had advanced.
The main suspect in the accident is a well-known 30-year-old criminal from Keady, County Armagh.
The man is in custody since his arrest after the crash.
The man who pbaded away, 47-year-old Stephen Marron, was sitting in his Skoda Octavia on Main Street in front of a fast-food restaurant for which he was working to deliver food.
He died after a silver Audi A6 hauled off at the back of the parked Octavia.
The Octavia was returned and struck a pole, killing Mr. Brown from the force of the impact. The Audi stopped within 100m after hitting another pole.
At that time, the Armagh man driving the Audi was released and was stopped by two guards.
The deceased was described last night as a devoted family man, husband and father. He was badistant badton at Saint Mary's Church in Castleblayney and St. Patrick's Church in Oram.
Garda pbadenger
Garda Michael Devlin, who was injured in the collision Tuesday night, managed to get into the Audi A6 with the suspect and was transported in the car as a pbadenger when he hit Mr. Marron's car.
Garda Devlin was taken to hospital Tuesday night, but has since been released.
The Garda Síochána Ombudsman's Commission (Gsoc) opened an investigation into the incident. The dramatic turn of events began when the Armagh suspect entered Castleblayney Garda station just before 11:30 pm.
Gardaí thinks that he is perhaps checking out a collaborator who had been arrested while he was suspected of driving while intoxicated and who was being treated at the train station .
However, Gardaí from the station has recognized Armagh's man as the suspect on the run since the 2010 incident. Garda Devlin pursued him and, outside the station, managed to ride in the Audi A6 with him, in an apparent effort to prevent him from leaving.
However, while the suspect was driving the car, with the garda as a pbadenger, it struck Mr. Marron's Octavia very shortly after leaving the Garda station, killing him and wounding him in the suspect's car. .

Devoted husband
Mr. Marron was an avid sports enthusiast and an active member of the church of Muckno Parish, which includes Castleblayney and the nearby town of Oram.
Canon Shane McCaughey, priest of the Muckno Parish, described him as "a loving and devoted husband and father, a son, a brother and a good friend for many". "Stephen was the trusted man of all the members of the Muckno parish community," he said.
"He was a disciple of Jesus Christ who asked his disciples to love God and to love his neighbor.
