Gardai is investigating an alleged kidnapping attempt after an 11-year-old schoolboy was approached while walking around the weekend.
The young boy is a student at Naomh Maelruain Senior in Old Bawn, Tallaght, Dublin and the principal of the school, Caitriona Hogan, warned parents this morning and urged them to be vigilant.
Dublin Live spoke with Ms. Hogan, who confirmed that Tallai's guard had been informed of the alleged kidnapping of a boy who was allegedly approached by a pick-up truck.
The alleged incident allegedly occurred between 6 pm and 6:30 pm last Sunday in Tallaght, reports Dublin Live.
Gardai also confirmed that they were investigating the incident.
