Last month, Emmerdale the fans were devastated when Joe Tate was brutally killed.
The fake millionaire fell and hit his head after being hit by Cain Dingle. But in the end, it was Graham Foster – whom Joe saw as a father-like figure – who killed him, after noting that his finger was contracting as he loaded his body into the trunk of the car.
Although actor Ned Porteous confirmed that his stay in the village was over, many remaining fans were still convinced that Graham could not have killed Joe – and that the character would come back in a day.
And although Andrew Scarborough – who plays Graham – previously admitted that he did not think his character could have killed Joe, he now seems much more certain of Joe's fate.
On his former colleague, he told The Sunday Post:
"I miss him terribly. We got along so well that he almost became a member of the family.
"We really understood it right away and we both would have ideas on how to flesh out a scene.
"It was his decision to leave but I miss him so much because he is an excellent actor and a lovely guy."
I guess that rule, then.
