Destiny 2The forge season started this week, but the Black Armory The mini-expansion is still surrounded by mystery. Scheduled for December 4, little is known about Black Armory and the incoming content Destiny 2Annual pbad. To make things a little easier for the players as they head for the new expansion, we gathered everything we could find on Black Armory before it's released and listed here.
[[[[Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Black Armory booty and history.]
The weapons are already falling
In Black Armorysome first-year weapons were reported with random throws. Presumably, these returning firearms will be able to leave the gunsmith once the expansion is launched, but for now, they are actually available elsewhere.
In EDZ and on Nessus, there are a few places where Forge Centurions will appear if you interact with a mysterious box that materializes in the environment. Although the boxes do not currently give any reward, the Centurions Forge have a small chance to drop a new Black Armory armed.
Some players get quick drops, while others have not been so lucky. These weapons should be much easier to recover from next week, but for the Guardian bored with new loot on the brain, the video below explains how to recover them.
Four new exotic rifles arrive
In the video announcing Black ArmoryBungie has revealed all the exotic weapons to come in season 5. There are four new weapons and a new weapon that we will get to in a moment.
As for the new guns, there seem to be three directly related to the Black Armory.
Izanagi's Burden is a kinetic sniper rifle that seems to come from the Japanese branch of Black Armory – the forges were designed based on Japanese, Nordic and French culture. Honed Edge, the unique advantage of this sniper rifle, allows players with a full loader of four to maintain the reload and crush the four bullets in one shot, inflicting tremendous damage.
According to Bungie, this weapon can inflict damage comparable to that of Whisper of the Worm or Sleeper Simulant, which is impressive considering that it is both heavy weapons, and from a goalkeeper to a shot in Crucible with a shot at the body.
The Monarch – which, if you think so, means the Monarch in French – is a new empty arc. Bungie compared this weapon to Thorn, a favorite fan handgun that caused damage over time in destiny. With Le Monarque, a perfectly timed archery will apply a lasting damage effect to the affected target. If the perfect shot is also a precision shot, the poison will be scattered in a cloud, applying the burn to all nearby enemies.
The rifle – affectionately called "the blaster arm" by Bungie, although we prefer to call it "the mega drummer" – is the only new exotic game we do not know much about outside the gameplay. He places himself on the guardian's arm and fires a shot after being loaded. This lock also spots enemies and leaves behind a pool of flames. We should learn more about it once Black Armory is released.
The latest exotic news does not seem to be related to the Black Armory at all. Instead, it seems to be a stolen weapon to one of the barons of Abandoned – maybe the crazy bomber or the trickster. It is a grenade launcher in the heavy slot called Anarchy. But instead of simply throwing grenades to kill enemies, he draws arc traps lying on the ground and creating a current when he is tied to other arc traps. This gives this weapon great potential in defensive defense modes such as countdown or in Horde-like activities, such as the new Lost Forge protocol or climbing.
The exotic finale of Black Armory We are very excited, even though it has not been fully confirmed.
The last word comes back
Yes. Western World's Last Word Rapid Shooting Handgun destiny seems to be back Black Armory.
Bungie teased that it would come back in the video ad Black Armory, like a handgun that looks a lot like what you can see on a guardian's hip. But we have a little more confirmation to draw from that.
In the API – a way for players to interface with the game server database – players could find the main benefit of Last Word: Fan Fire. While this advantage was simply called "the last word" in destinyhe has the same icon in Destiny 2The API and basically does the same thing.
For those who have never used the last word in destinyit was a crucible machine. The gun fires like a typical gunner's revolver, the Guardian serving to activate the trigger. He pulls extremely fast and has to be shot from the hip.
If you still do not buy her back, one of the exotic sparrows that Tess can get this season seems to be inspired by the last word, and it would be cruel if Bungie does not add the exotic handgun . back in.
This quest – titled "The Draw", seems to be another clue – will only be available on January 29 of next year and seems to require the Black Armory expansion.
Ada-1 is the seller
Ada-1 is the new Exo supplier located in the annex, a new area in the tower. She is not particularly friendly to the Guardians, but she will join us anyway to rebuild the Black Armory and start remaking the best weapons of the Golden Age.
Depending on the players who were able to find the information via the database or through a strange leak on the companion Destiny app, Ada will sell mod components to players at a reasonable price of 25 Gunsmith materials and three scarves legendary.
Similar leaks suggest that Ada will have different weapon mounts each week that players can pick up and bademble. It almost looks like Armsday's thing destinywhere players could choose certain guns with certain benefits each week and work towards them guaranteed.
Regarding his quests, these have all been dated. It seems that Ada will send players to collect various materials in the galaxy – some of which destinyStyle quests like going to the farm obscure enemies located under the first raid of the game or complete specific public events. But once the players have the weapon frame and the necessary equipment, Ada will send them to one of the lost forges in the world of Destiny, the site of the new activity of this extension.
Lost Forge is the new activity
There are some Lost Forges scattered around Destiny 2 now, and they will all be open at different times. These are in remote areas of planets like Nessus and are surrounded by small arenas. When players are ready to make a weapon acquired from Ada, they can go to the forge with three of their friends or just pretend to be an entrance hall.
Once the activity begins, it seems like it's a typical wave-based game mode. The guards will introduce their materials into the smithy and protect it while she builds a weapon specifically for them. Once the activity is over, the enemies will stop breeding and the forge will spit a new sophisticated weapon.
These forges open each according to a schedule, but will likely remain open once they are released. The three forges and a new laboratory – which should also be the fourth forge – will open in mid-January.
Black Armory adds a new raid, not a den
While the players had originally promised a raid hangout – a tiny raid at a place similar to the main raid, Leviathan in the case of Eater of Worlds and Spire of Stars – The Scourge of the Past will be a complete raid in Bungie's eyes. In a recent blog post, the studio revealed that the new raid would be between the end of Crota destiny and the last Last Wish raid in terms of reach and size.
While we do not have confirmation on this, it seems likely that Scourge of the Past will have its own loot table, the only one of its kind in this raid – it is sorely lacking in the lair of the year. last. This new Black Armory the raid takes place in the last city and has no connection with the history of the dream city or the last wish.
For players wanting to pursue Scourge of the Past, Bungie revealed that the raid would open at 9:00 am and that it would have a recommended power of 640 – only 10 under the new 650 cap.
Someone comes back from the dead, and this is not Cayde
In what is probably the most surprising database of all, the Destiny community has managed to unearth a huge spoiler hidden in Black Armory.
(We have already placed a spoiler tag on this message, but be aware that this one is very spoilery.)
In a kinematic found in Black Armory, a ghost roams in search of a new guardian in the city of dreams – just as Ghost did for us in the cosmodrome destiny. When the ghost meets a body covered with a sheet in a pavilion, it sweeps and becomes excited. He enters the animation of the resurrection and creates a new guardian.
The man under the flag springs and, as his blanket falls, it is revealed that the last guardian to fight for the city is Uldren Sov, brother of Queen Mara and badbadin of Cayde-6.
It's really interesting for a number of reasons, but most of all because the Guardians do not keep the memory during their resurrection – at least in most scenarios. Uldren will probably only return to the tower to be greeted by people who hated him in an earlier life – like Ikora, Zavala and us, the Guardians who killed him. Only Uldren will not remember why we hate him or the fact that he killed Cayde-6.
All this becomes even more interesting when we know that Cayde-6 left the role of Hunter Vanguard – currently vacant post – to the Hunter who killed him during the Ace of Spades quest. According to the way Uldren is still dressed, it seems that he will become a Hunter in his new Guardian life, making Uldren Sov the newest Hunter Vanguard – the decree final of Cayde-6.
All this is of course speculation. But seeing a villain like Uldren resurrected in this way is rather exciting. Others will certainly come from this in the future, but for the moment, we can simply ask ourselves what the Uldren resurrection could mean and how it will shake the world of Destiny.
