Do you want to be your party …
And yes, you can say that it's almost Christmas when groups start planning their route for the next few months and with a multitude of gigs to choose from in Ireland, 2019's announcement as a pretty decent year for all those who like to go to concerts.
That being said, as we often do, we are more than happy to expand our horizons and look abroad to see what other festivals in Europe offer good value for money.
On this note, a seven-day pbad for the Sziget festival in Budapest, Hungary, is currently available for € 299.
Running from August 7th to 13th, the festival has become more and more popular with Irish music fans in recent years and the first acts for 2019 have just been announced.
Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran, Florence and the Machine, The 1975, Catfish and the Bottleneck, Chvrches, Kodaline, Jungle and Richard Ashcroft are just a few examples of the name announced in the first batch of artists.
Of course, hundreds of additional names will be added to the bill.
As always, festival options and musical tastes are unique to everyone, but this one is bound to be popular.
Currently, a quick Skyscanner search for a Dublin-Budapest flight on August 6 (the day before the start of the festival) and August 14 (the day after it ends) looks like this.
One thing is certain, the weather will be much better than you would have at a concert in Ireland.
