Galway Bay FM Press Room – Four Galway names appear on the latest list of unpaid taxes issued by the Revenue Commissioners.
At the national level, 62 names are on the list and reached 21 million euros for a period covering the first quarter of the year.
At the top of the Galway list, publican Thomas Tonery of Bar Bohermore of Tonery has settled a little over 95,000 euros for under-reporting of income tax and VAT.
Then comes Oldside Enterprises Limited of the Seapoint Leisure Center in Salthill, which has paid a little over 69,000 euros for under-reporting of corporate tax and VAT.
The third Galway Company, Siam Food Limited, located in Upper Salthill, carries on business under the name of Lana Asian Street Food and made a settlement of just over 58,000 euros for under-reporting VAT.
Carrier James Linnane of Cushatrower (Roundstone) made the fourth settlement in Galway. He paid a little over 43,000 euros for under-reporting of income tax, PAYE / PRSI / USC taxes and VAT.
The most important transaction to be imposed nationwide was on the Eurosurgical medical equipment provider in Dublin, featured in last year's Prime Time documentary.
