The Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) issued a high-risk warning of West Nile virus infection for north-central. and southwestern Kansas. Northeastern, southeastern and northwestern Kansas have a moderate risk of WNV infection.
At present, health authorities in Sedgwick County claim that no case of West Nile has been reported in the county
