JACK Fincham admitted that his relationship with Dani Dyer was tense as a result of a series of disputes over their next reality show.
A month after The Sun revealed that the Love Island champions were going through a difficult time, Jack confirmed that there were problems between them for weeks.
Despite their difficulties, Jack, 26, is still confident that his story with Dani, 22, will survive former winners, Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies, who announced their separation on December 4 from last year.
Speaking for the first time about their struggles for The Great Interview with The Sun, he said, "We have arguments, but people can not think that the world is going to end because we've had a fight. It's a normal thing to have a fight.
"Filming the series was not easy. It was difficult, intense. You are filmed almost every day of the week.
"We had fights during filming, like any couple. I'm moved when Dani does it. I even had some rips. But Dani and I succeeded.
The reality TV star insists that their Jack and Dani: Life After Love Island series will not look anything like the Chris Hughes and Olivia Attwood series, full of fiery rows.
Instead, he hopes the three episodes on ITVBe will remind viewers that they are just like any other couple.
He said: "Most series like this deal with arguments and dramas, but ours is a beautiful story, it is about two people who love it.
"Dani and I have a really normal relationship; we both go to work, like our takeaway and at home. We do not have the impression that we met at Love Island; sometimes we have to remember it.
"It's certainly not the show of Chris and Olivia, they just did not like each other."
Jack, who admitted to Love Island cheating on each of his previous friends, said he had not yet received any unwanted attention from other girls.
He may have garnered 2.6 million followers on Instagram because of his new notoriety, but Jack insists that women only end up in his consulting job when they fear there is a problem between him and Dani.
Even during club appearances, Jack claims that the majority of fans waiting to meet him are guys wanting to shake his hand for being welcomed into the Dyer family.
He said, "Everyone knows that I'm with Dani. I am a forbidden zone, everyone knows that we are together.
"I did not have girls on me. People talk to me, but only about Dani.
"If I do not post a photo of Dani and me for a day, I get so many girls asking me," Are you still with Dani? "That's all I have, people are checking that everything is fine, it's like having millions of advisors.
Since his victory, Love Island, Jack has played alongside Danny Dyer in shows such as Celebrity Juice, the couple seeming to get along well as a friend.
They also appeared together on the red carpet, as well as with Dani at the launch of its In The Style range.
And Jack revealed that he could turn to the EastEnders actor, 41, when needed and that he felt bound by a similar education.
He said, "Our relationship is really good, we get along well.
"Danny and I are pretty similar, we share the same point of view. I guess because we have similar backgrounds, they're from Canning Town, I'm from Abbey Wood, believe me, they're very similar. Everything is fine on this front.
"If I ever called him back and said," Look, I have a problem, I want to talk to you, "he would always give me his time.

He said, "Boxing has always been part of my life, I love it. I was in great shape and I want to come back and get in shape.
"I have never been so ripped. Do not think of Adam Collard. I just need to be thinner. It's more for fitness but I can not wait to get back into the ring. "
