A man appeared in a Dublin District Court accused of online harbadment.
The 36-year-old man was charged with an 18-month investigation by Garda into an alleged seven-year online harbadment campaign against a number of women.
Gardaí said that during the investigation, the accused would have persisted in communicating with the victims electronically.
The accused was charged with several counts of harbadment and held in custody for eight weeks for the purpose of serving a collection of evidence.
