For many families in Ireland, the Late Late Toy Show is the signal that Christmas has indeed arrived and that it never fails to deliver you moments of pleasure and comfort.
This Friday, it will be time to snuggle once more in front of the TV to see all the latest toys and gadgets, Ryan Tubridy's ever more inventive Christmas jumper, celebrity guest surprise and, of course, a plethora of talented artists.

12. Life is the bubbles! (2017)

9. Toby tries to ignore Girls Aloud (2003)
Toby Kane, originally from Wicklow, won the Eyes Junior Award at the Wicklow Regatta Festival in 2003 and wanted to further demonstrate her singing skills at the Toy Show, performing Jump by Girl's Aloud. 7. A young Imelda May gets her break (1986)
Imelda May is a big name in the Irish music scene now, but it seems that she's always been destined to be a star, performing Mary's Boy Child at the Late Late Toy Show of 1986 as part of from the group The Liberties Music and Drama. She is the one with the yellow lantern!
6. Ed Sheeran surprises her biggest fan (2014)
It's always good when kids meet their heroes, but it's even better when it's a surprise. Last year, Aimee Keogh was upset by the Toy Show. While playing a karaoke version of an Ed Sheeran song, the man himself slipped behind her to join her. Aimee yelled, then she seemed to be crying with joy as she cried out, "I'm hysterical, oh my God." That he is cute.
5. Tubs meets a future John Galliano (2010)
With his stylish glbades and trilby hat, Douglas is clearly out of touch with the other kids at the 2010 Toy Show. "You're definitely changing the Christmas look, I have to say it," he said. he told Tubridy, much to the public's delight. It was clear that Douglas was a child with big dreams, hoping to work as a designer at Paris Fashion Week. We had to agree with Tubs when he said that we would probably see Douglas in the future.
4. The best surprise of all time (2017)
The brothers Adam and Kayla had the best surprise at the Toy Fair last year, after the meeting of their father based in Mali in the Defense Forces. We just could not care, nor Tubs!
3. Domhnall meets his favorite footballer (2013)
When Connemara soccer fan Domhnall Ó Confhaol appeared at the Toy Show in 2013, his hero Robbie Keane was recovering from an Achilles tendon operation. Tubridy asked Domhnall what he would say to the Irish captain if he could talk to him. "I hope that it will get better soon because I think we really need it for the 2016 euros … It's like the main man for us," Domhnall said.
Robbie costs on stage on crutches, leaving the cherub at the age of 8 without a voice. Bless.
2. "A craic?" "None." (2012)
What about the little guys on the tractors of the Toy Show? Alex Meehan was dazzled by the stakes of style in his farmer's cap, his glowing blue Ray Bans and his blue Christmas sweater, but it's the awkward comedy created by his interaction with Tubridy that really stole star. Shy Alex broke into Gaeilge's role but seemed panicked when Tubs tried to keep the conversation going by giving him an answer in one word and pedaling quickly.
1. John Joe the Watchmaker (2009)
Last but not least, the adorable John Joe Brennan. He won the hearts of the nation with his tweed jacket, glbades and incredibly articulate literary critics. He told Tubridy that he wanted to be a watchmaker before inspecting the watch from the host and telling him "It's a very good mark, I suppose." Next to Rolex. " What a little legend.
