Park Place Technologies will open its new European, Middle East and African headquarters at the City Quarter in Cork.
The new investment, supported by IDA Ireland, will create 70 jobs in technology over the next two years.
Park Place supports more than 15,000 organizations in more than 115 countries.
Headquartered in Cleveland, USA, it employs more than 1,100 people and has offices around the world, including San Diego, Denver, Boston, Toronto, London, Calne, Wiesbaden, Malaysia, Singapore and Dubai.
The new positions include experienced customer service experts in business and consumer relations using data center technologies; support badysts with multilingual skills and advanced engineers.
The company said that one of the main reasons it had been attracted to Cork – aside from the geopolitical positioning in the EMEA area – was access to the talent profile needed to support its ongoing growth. .
"We need badociates with strong technical skills and an ability to be agile on multiple technologies," said Chris Adams, president and chief operating officer of the company.
"They have to have a strong appetite for growth, learning and a constant focus on the customer experience, all recruitments will be in the country, new locations in Ireland are possible thanks to new acquisitions", he declares.
