Whether you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber or not, Sony offers great deals on PS Plus and free gifts.

In February 2019, Sony announces a free bonus for existing members.

Anyone with an active PS Plus subscription and a PlayStation VR headset can benefit from a free Firewall Zero Hour trial.

The PlayStation VR shooter will be available for free from January 18th to 20th.

"We are looking forward to welcoming as many new PS VR players into the fray!" reads a Sony blog post.

"The firewall's Zero Hour: Firewall Weekend Demo will include all the thrilling modes of the full game (Single Player Training – Player vs. AI, Multiplayer Training – Cooperation Against AI, and Multiplayer Contrast – Player vs Player vs. as well as the entire list of cards in the game, including the newly added card, Containment! As a bonus, any progress made during the test of PS Plus will be carried over to the full game.

If you are not a member of PS Plus and want to try, Sony also offers heavy discounts on subscriptions.

Available only to out-of-date members, Sony has reduced its PlayStation Plus 3-month membership by £ 5 from £ 20 to £ 15.

Elsewhere, a PS Plus subscription of 12 months has been reduced from £ 50 to £ 37.50. It's a 25% saving.

The offer is only available until January 24, so hurry up if you want to get a good deal.

Steep and Portal Knights are at the top of January's free PlayStation Plus list.

PS3 users can download Zone of the Enders HD Collection and Amplitude, while Fallen Legion: Flames of Rebellion and Super Mutant Alien Assault are available on PlayStation Vita.

Fallen Legion: The Flames of Rebellion is also playable on PS4 for compatibility between platforms.
