Revealed: Christmas gift people are less impressed to find under the Christmas tree

The socks are the gifts that men would be the least impressed to find under the Christmas tree, while women would be the most disappointed sets of cosmetics and kitchen utensils, according to an investigation

Saga Insurance has asked more than 11,600 members what they would like as a gift this year.

For men, vouchers were the most popular choice among the items they wanted, followed by tickets for an event such as a concert or a theater trip.

Women said they preferred tickets, followed by vouchers.

Maria Caruso, head of home insurance at Saga, said: "This survey found that people who wish to benefit from a unique experience or a good exchange are often likely to share them with their friends and other family members … nice to open the big day. "

When asked what unwanted gifts they had received in the past, women were most likely to say that they had received makeup kits, followed by cooking utensils.

Men were probably less impressed by socks than by shaving sets.
