Luke Shaw thinks Old Trafford lacks a "scare factor" after Manchester United's 1-0 win over Young Boys on Tuesday night.
Red Devils perform below normal and had a brilliant stop from David de Gea and the late goal of Marouane Fellaini to thank for the three points of Group H.
The result allows them to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League with a game to spare, but with only one goal scored in their three home matches of the competition.
And Shaw think that it is necessary to find the fear factor demonstrated at the time of Sir Alex Ferguson where teams feared to come to Old Trafford.
"After the weekend result, I think it was always going to be harder than expected," Shaw told BeIN Sports.
"Some teams were worried about Old Trafford but I think sometimes people come in and think they can get results.
"More importantly, that's what we need to change as a team and as a club: bring that fear factor back into an Old Trafford that few people fear for the moment."
